The Valley of the Kings
The valley contains 63 tombs of different rulers, pharaohs, and
queens of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. The main kings and rulers of the 18th dynasty were the only ones who were allowed to be buried in the valley. Only 18 of the tombs can be viewed by the public and are rarely all open at the same time.

Tutankhamen Tomb
The Tutankhamen tomb is relatively small compared to the other
tombs in the valley. He was a minor king with a very short reign. He took power at 9 and died at 19. However, it is the only untouched tomb in the valley and the treasures that were discovered were priceless.

I feel privileged that we were able to experience the wonders of this amazing country in such comfort and luxury.
Afforded to us by a small travel club in the middle of Cairo. All was brought about by a synchronistic event while planning this trip. It came out of the blue. All I can do is say......
Thank You !!
