Pai to Mae Hong Son
Today the drive passes through very interesting landscapes and fairly large tribal villages with weekly local markets. Halfway we pass through Soppong area, which has some of the most spectacular mountain scenery to be found in Northern Thailand. The drive today is about two hours.

Today we visit the mountain village of Ban Rak Thai. The drive is about 90 minutes with fantastic scenery. The charm of the village, which surrounds a lake, is the preserved traditional lifestyle of the Yunnan people and the tea fields that cover the hills.
